Western Australia is not part of the National Electricity Market. Its main grid is the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS) around Perth, where Synergy is the regulated monopoly retailer and Western Power runs the network; regional and remote areas are served by Horizon Power. WA runs its own Residential Battery Scheme and battery-rebate rules, so the VPP landscape here is quite different from the eastern states.

3 Virtual Power Plants accept home batteries in Western Australia: Synergy Battery Rewards, Plico Energy, Horizon Power Community Wave.
WA Residential Battery Scheme — about $130/kWh up to $1,300 (Synergy area) or $3,800 (Horizon Power) on the first 10 kWh, plus interest-free loans. Stacks with the federal discount.
